Jay Z and Diddy top Forbes' list of highest-earning hip-hop stars 2016

Forbes today released the 10th annual Hip-Hop Cash Kings List, ranking the world’s 20 highest-paid rap acts. Diddy tops the list for the second year in a row, with his earnings derived primarily from a lucrative deal with Ciroc and other non-musical ventures.

 Jay-Z, who is No. 2 on the list, has not released an album or played many shows this year but continues to earn big from several outside business ventures including; his Roc Nation entertainment company.Dr Dre comes third as a result of Apple’s $3 billion Beats buyout in 2014.
